One major complaint of users who have switch to IOS 8 is that of battery problems. This seems to be a widespread issue; however, if you are one of those persons who are having this problem, they are some steps you can take. Here are some tips and tricks to save you some well needed battery life on your IOS device:

1. Turn off background Apps, Location Services & App Notification Refresh
Apple has allowed IOS users to have apps running in background, location services and push notifications, while these are all good services, they do run down your battery. The fact of the matter is that anything that is running in background whether it is your IPhone, IPad, or IPod, they uses up your battery.

They are some simple things that you can do to save battery from running down quickly, things that we don’t normally think about. Some of these are:
3. Check for emails manually (i.e. when I load the app) instead of letting the app push emails to you each time you receive a new email (i.e. turning off PUSH). To do so, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data, toggle Push at the top to Off, and then set Fetch to Manually.
