Subway Surfer Review

With literally millions of downloads, this game is simple one of the most well played and beloved game on the AppStore and Google Playstore, next to Temple Run of course. Almost on every phone you can find Subway Surfer, people just can’t get enough of it, even kids can’t get enough of it, and once you start playing then you will know why. I myself have joined the bandwagon and find it an enjoyable game, there is always something going on with Subway Surfer, always something new to collect or search for, and this has kept the game very popular and exciting. Undoubtedly, Kiloo, the developer of Subway Surfer, is doing something right.

Subway SurfersSubway Surfers

Subway Surfer is a fun filled game which takes a lot of time and patience to master when you just start playing it, and even persons who have been playing for quite some time still have some problems in going very far in it, but day after day they kept playing, why? Because it is very addictive and a fun game to play. In Subway Surfer, you have to dodge trains, jump barriers, duck under barriers, and repeat those things until game over.  Game over when you hit an obstacle such as run into a train or any barriers or walls.

The whole point of the game is to have you running along a set of subway tracks for as long as you can from the mad train conductor and his dog, collecting coins and other power-ups on the path ahead while avoiding a series of obstacles like actual trains, light posts, wooden barricades, tunnels, running on trains, using Jetpacks and more. You’ll be able swipe your finger left or right on the screen to make your character switch between one of the three vertical tracks, but you’ll always keep moving forward. You can even collect hoverboards to help you skate your way along the tracks.

One of the things I like about this game is that there is always something exciting to collect in the mystery boxes. There is also cool powerups such as coin magnet, sneakers, jetpack, keys, hoverboard amongst others. Your job is to run as far as you can without dying, which then allows you to use keys to continue the game. There is always a new mission to complete that will reward you with even more coins along the way..

Unlike other endless runner games, with Subway surfer there is always a new place to run on or something new to collect, this makes the game very appealing as you never know which place you will be running on next, neither will you know what items will be up for grab in the mystery boxes or lying on the tracks. Even new characters are added at regular interval. There is simple no boring days with this endless runner game.

Story Line

The main character in the game is Jake who is an inspiring graffiti artist. Jake was minding his own business with his spray can when he was interrupted by a train conductor who caught him working on his masterpiece. Jake instead of allowing the train conductor to catch him and bring him to punishment, Jake decided to run for his life, and from that point onwards the running and the surfing begins. While Jake, who is a very good skater, is running for his life he can collect coins on the track and powerups to help him on his way. Your job is to control Jake to help him outrun the conductor and his mad Pitbull. Use all kinds of cool power ups such as Jet Pack or hovering skateboard to run and surf on top of moving trains and metallic train tracks, but remember you can’t get caught!
